Shoppers in Galway and its surrounding areas have another exciting new brand to welcome to the local community as a new Regatta store opens its doors to shoppers this morning at Gateway Shopping Park, Galway.
An official store opening ceremony will take place later this month.
Regatta, a leading global outdoor and leisure clothing company, was launched in Ireland 23 years ago in 2000 and has gone from strength to strength, cultivating a dedicated customer base with a love of exploration and adventure. The new store will mark an important milestone for the company as it continues to expand its presence in Ireland. This would be their 19th store in the Republic of Ireland with other locations including Dublin, Cork, Limerick, Waterford, Wexford and Drogheda.
Regatta has invested heavily in their new state of the art store with sustainability to the fore by using LED lighting and recycled materials throughout.
Paddy O’Connor from Sigma Retail Partners, the asset management company for the shopping park, said:

Gateway Shopping Park already has an impressive line-up of leading occupiers including Dunnes Stores, B&Q, New Look, Next and McSharry Pharmacy along with new tenants recently opened in the Phase 2 extension such as Harvey Norman, Boots, Carraig Donn, Evergreen, Petstop, Sonas Childcare and The Warehouse Gym.
